Tucker Carlson — Mitch McConnell threatened to convict Trump if he pardons Julian Assange…
Citizen Free Press ^ | 01/19/2021

Posted on 01/19/2021 9:13:56 PM PST by SeekAndFind

“Mitch McConnell has sent word over the White House – If you pardon Julian Assange we are much more likely to convict you in an impeachment trial. Well, is it legal to hold that over a president’s head? We’re not lawyers, we don’t know. It’s certainly wrong. But more than that, it tells you everything about their priorities.”

McConnell he has told allies he hopes never to speak to Mr. Trump again and is doing nothing to persuade senators to back him, instead calling the impeachment vote a matter of conscience. https://t.co/Jv1QFngSa4

Mitch is really crapping his pants about Assange, so I think President Trump should tell Mitch to piss up a rope and move forward with a pardon for Assange.

I want Trump to have a full trial in the Senate. His side of the story needs to be heard. Due process is his right, just as it is for all Americans.

An office-holder can be impeached.

Once the person resigns, quits, departs, is convicted of a crime or dies, impeachment is unnecessary and probably invalid.

But I wouldn’t put anything past Nancy and the Turtle.

Assange should not be pardoned, he and his buddy Chelsea Manning whom Obama let off easy can suck it.

Just looking to understand your viewpoint...how is he any different than every other journalist who has leaked or reported on things that were classified but received by a whistleblower?

He leaked about Hillary and the Clintonistas.

It’s amazing he’s still alive. Seth Rich sure isn’t..

Something has changed.. It feels stranger than it already had.. I can’t shake the feeling the President is being threatened over more than Assange. Praying for our Amazing President and his family and friends.

If he scares McConnell, then he should be pardoned.

Asange can expose all of it anyway! I would, also, bet he has a “dead man” switch.

-- Due process is his right, just as it is for all Americans. --

I know the point is arguable, but the House will calim it provided all the due process that the defendant deserved.

And with the right to vote, everything the government does is with the consent of the people.

Has Turtle committed extortion, blackmail, or both?

Anyways, the corrupt swamp continues to expose itself and vaporize their claim to office

I would be surprised if they did not have the votes to convict. They are all afraid of Trump running in 2024, but even more than that, if he generates a new conservative party, then all of their offices will be in jeopardy. If they can convict, then they can make a legal case that he would not be eligible to run for President ever again.

If they do impeach private citizen Trump, Obama should receive the same treatment. There’s a slew of things he could be impeached for...pick one.

The GOP swamp hates Trump but they are not afraid of him. They did pretty much whatever they wanted the past 4 years. Nothing in the future will change that.
