Mitt, sit down. Shut up.

I’d call him a moron, but morons don’t deserve to be tainted
with that.

#4: "I'm on Russia's side if Romney is against them...lol"

Me too. Too bad they didn't test it out on Romney first. :)

This stupid phucker STILL doesn’t understand that we are going to need the Russians as allies against China (presuming that we survive Biden/Harris)? He’s either completely dense, or bought off...or both.

Romney, the Neo-Cons, and the Leftist globalists are gonna be back to hammering Russia again. All these people see Russia as one of the premier impediments to their utopia of a one-world Leftists paradise.

Lately, I’m not feeling the USA is in much position to be “fighting for democracy and rights of the Russian people”

They must think we are a joke, beyond hypocrisy
And why is the media running to Romney for commentary on every issue?
They think he’s the GOP’s selected Kahuna?
Do they want us to hate him even more? ‘ cause it’s working.
Btw he’s 73. No way in 2024.

Would have happened under Trump.

The President was fooled on multiple occasions by his national security team into taking action against Russia based on false or misleading "intelligence", so its quite possible he would have taken the bait again here.

For all his rumblings on foreign policy Trump was a fairly easy mark, and I'm not convinced he didn't prefer it that way.

He wasn’t fooled. Anyone who has more than a passing familiarity with Russian history knows it was a threat long before the Bolsheviks, simply from the way it expanded relentlessly. I don’t know anything about the curriculum at the military school Trump attended, but I expect military history to be one of the subjects well-covered, and Russia’s wide-ranging additions to the empire to be at least touched upon. It’s not for nothing that Russia is still, today, almost the size of the next two largest nations *combined*.

How Democrats in this country any better? They engaged in voter fraud to get Biden elected and many are now threatening to prosecute and arrest Trump. And, Romney is complicate in all that.

We're fooling ourselves if we think those that will be charge starting tomorrow are any better than Putin.

Romney is so lame! The A-H just can’t keep his mouth shut.

It is not the “job” of the US to meddle in the affairs of other countries, unless those affairs have an adverse effect on the US.

Navalny is a hard-core nationalist. Not in the sense of being a normal patriot, like Trump, but rather of “Russia for Russians” in an ethnic sense. This doesn’t make a lot of sense in a former empire that has been massively multi-ethnic for longer than any of us have been alive. Put simply, he is an actual racist who would likely behave closer to the Nazis than anyone who gets called a “nazi” nowadays. Add to that his self-aggrandizing, self-serving nature and delusions of self-importance and you have a recipe for disaster. He is one man that should never be let near the Kremlin.

Trump was fooled (or allowed himself to be) by his national security team many times. Perhaps the most recent example of this would be when his former envoy to Syria James Jeffery admitted to misleading the President on troop counts and movements in that country.

Probably the most egregious example would be the MI6/CIA coverup of the Skripal poisoning incident which led to the United States (among others) shuttering Russian consulates and mass expulsion of diplomats. Trump allowed himself to led around by the nose (or so it seemed) on what turned out to be a completely false narrative.

Why not have Russia for the Russians in the ethnic sense? Just because we’re committing ethnic and cultural suicide in the West doesn’t mean Russia has to.

Now that might be offensive to some people but hey, I don’t hear anyone complaining when the Mexicans say “Por la raza todo, fuera de la raza nada”.

I also don’t hear anyone bitching because Native American tribes refuse to integrate or allow Muslim immigrants to settle on their lands.

Just saying.

I would agree with you but your analogy does not hold. Russia is not particularly being invaded by other cultures and ethnicities...they are already there. The Russian Federation spans two continents, contains 193 distinct ethnic groups and out of 85 of its federal subjects, 22 are considered “republics” which have their own cultures, traditions, and languages. Out of those 22, ethnic Russians are a minority in 13. Interestingly, all of these people have a common thread of being Russian citizens and share in national tradition and culture (like celebration of holidays). This phenomenon isn’t just in the far flung regions either. In Rostov and Krasnodar in the south, Armenians are a significant population of the population, and many families have been there since the time of Ekaterinina II.

So when some jerk like Navalny comes around sounding like a Nazi, it is fair to give pause.

An ‘opposition leader’ never polled above 5%.

Deutsche Welle has run a poll. Exactly 15% of Russians believe in the poisoning hoax.
The rest think it is either a show or false flag by MI6.

Did you watch the clip where he says that he "tricked" the FSB guy who "poisoned" him into admitting it? Its almost like a comedy routine.

If you take the words and literally translate them into English like the media has done, it sounds bad. When you listen in Russian it sounds like a staged routine.

I don't know a single Russian who thinks this whole poisoning thing is legitimate.
