I can understand the GOP reps from left leaning areas like WA and IL but WY is solid red. Cheney just wants the Old Bush Republican order to remain in charge of the GOP. She needs to be primaried. We need a solid conservative in this seat.

Corker got 65% in 2012. He quit rather than be primaried and humiliated in 2018. Jeff Flake did the same, in a purple state. They understood that they stood no chance if Trump actively went against them. These GOP reps won’t be an exception. All Trump has to do is pick the best of their opponents and campaign against them in the primary. The GOP needs a thorough spring cleaning. When Trump runs again in 2024 and wins, he can govern with a slate of GOP Congressmen who personally owe him, rather than with Paul Ryan clones.
