Washington (CNN) — Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser on Monday urged Americans to avoid the city during President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration next week and to participate virtually following last week's deadly domestic terror attack on the US Capitol.
Meanwhile, the National Guard has plans to have up to 15,000 National Guard troops to meet current and future requests for the inauguration, Gen. Daniel Hokanson, the chief of the National Guard Bureau, said Monday. The dramatic increase in troops comes as law enforcement in the nation's capital and around the country brace for further extremist violence amid the transition of power.
Speaking at a news conference Monday, Bowser, a Democrat, stressed that she was concerned about more violent actors potentially coming to the city in the run-up to the inauguration, saying, "if I'm scared of anything, it's for our democracy, because we have very extreme factions in our country that are armed and dangerous."

Believe me, I’ll never set foot in that city again. I was able to get a White House tour in January of 2018. We had lunch at the Trump Hotel. It was a beautiful but extremely cold day...(which kept away a lot of the riffraff.)

They don’t bring in bus loads of military ... fence around the capitol... for a party.
those inside the capitol are racing to get Trump gone before he acts... they know they have been in the dirt with past president and v president.... the world knows...but citizens of the United States do not know because we live such a comfortable life, it just isn’t possible.

So let me get this straight.President elect Biden has accepted 100’s of millions of dollars in bribes from hostile foreign powers and laundered the bribes through his family members including his son Hunter.Vice President Biden took his son on a state visit to China.While Biden was meeting with Chinese leaders his son was accepting 1.5 Billion dollars from the Chinese Government.Hunter Biden then took the bribe money and used it to purchase dual use technology companies that China was prohibited from buying.How is this not treasonous actually ?Why isn’t the FBI all over this?Now we are being told that 10 thousand troops are guarding this traitor and President Trumps supporters are are the new threat to our country.So now we have the US military propping up a corrupt government, not overseas but right here in the nations capital.It’s getting real.
