You could be right. Heck if I were Trump after the state legislatures, courts and the circus of CONgress I’d say screw it too. He tried and we were with him keyboard style. Nothing left to fight for at this point, it’s up to WETHE PEOPLE if we want to do anything about the rapid rise of the new socialist country we live in.

Waste of time
I asked this question once before, as a hypothetical, what actually happens if Trump manages to invoke the insurrection act, if Biden, Harris and Pelosi are all placed under arrest for sedition before January 20th, then presumably he remains president, but what actually happens? Is there a declaration of martial law and no inauguration, just a continuation? What would be the expectations of the length of that state of affairs? Assuming a large number of arrests of elected members of Congress, would there be some re-working of the electoral college process to legitimize a second term?
I would have expected this before now, if it was going to happen at all. Trump probably has more to lose than most of his supporters. He says they are after the base and he’s just in the way, but I read it somewhat differently, they are after powerful enemies who can do them harm, and think they can probably silence the base through intimidation and the removal of their platforms. Time will tell where that leads.

Perhaps not. But nobody on earth could have predicted these last 12 months, this is something out of a fiction book.
I was thinking the other day about calamitous events. Often times in hindsight they are “obvious”. Not so in this last year. OTOH, some of the things have been obvious, the fraud for example in the election.... every conservative dreaded it.
Boy, to be able to predict this next 12 months huh?
