A day before Capitol attack, pro-Trump crowd stormed meeting, threatened officials in rural California

...The Shasta County Board of Supervisors had planned to meet virtually Jan. 5 because of an uptick in coronavirus cases. The supervisors’ chambers in Redding were closed. Seats had been removed. The public speakers’ microphone was disabled.

But, in protest, a newly elected supervisor unlocked the doors. In poured dozens of people, unmasked, to vent their fury. Three supervisors attending virtually watched from afar as threats flew amid the speeches....

In some ways, the rhetoric in that officially closed county government facility carried a hint of the rage that would boil over 2,800 miles away when pro-Trump rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol the next day....

...That such tension is playing out in liberal California — which voted overwhelmingly for Biden and fought the Trump administration on immigration, climate change and myriad other issues — only signals that it is happening all across the country, locals say.

Ashli's brother described his Southern California sister as a 'normal, ticked off Californian'. Well, it's not just southern Californians that feel this way. It's all of California. North, South, and Central doesn't matter. People everywhere are of a like mind - something has to change. And as California goes, so goes the nation. Politicians need to wake up and realize, there's a reason we trust Trump and not them.

Officials on all levels think they do not have to govern,,,just rule.

Notice that the original purposes of these protests was against the insane business closures, shutdowns, mask requirements, and other irrational tyranny carried out through the CA health department. Many of the sheriffs in Northern CA won’t enforce these things, and they remain merely at harassment level, but it has created a huge amount of anger.

Put that together with the corrupted election, some of which was facilitated by the Covid shutdowns, and, most of all, the refusal of the legal channels (courts and legislatures) to give people even a hearing, and what do they expect? The decision of Roberts and SCOTUS is going to go down as one of the great mistakes in American history.

Well, assuming the country continues to exist and Big Brother doesn’t find a way of erasing all knowledge of the past.

Wow! Is there an award for the most masterful literary propaganda? That article is loaded.

“And as California goes, so goes the nation.”

I have to disagree with you on that. No one I know has considered California to even be part of the nation for decades. For decades California has projected the image of Kumbaya Liberalism and the rest of us would just shake our heads as every state election would bring CA electors even more liberal looney and corrupt than the last.

I realize now how wrong I have been about the US citizens that live in CA thanks to the 2020 election. They haven’t been voting for these people. It’s all been rigged.

I’ve actually been impressed with people in CA trying to take back their state from the cabal. What happened with the recall?

Do we have to remind these people of the threats and violence they have been perpetrating for years? And the anchors snd reporters at msn have applauded, supported, and encouraged it?

The media is so complicit in the state of affairs. It is their behavior which has emboldened their viewers. It is their rants and shows that have created hostility towards political opponents. It is their continual talk 24 hours a day that has stroked the ego of those committing crimes in the name of liberal causes. They have brain washed their viewers. Their viewers repeat the hostile words which are said on their shows verbatim creating strife in families, friends snd definitely innocent strangers.

The media is guilty.

Voting in California will come to purple fingers and paper ballots and some secure way of tallying the votes. There are a great number of red blooded American Patriots existing there, Harley owning, beer drinking, tobacco chewing, Bible thumpers included.
