She was on the right hand side of the door where the glass had previously been broken out, and was in the process of trying to climb through the window when she was shot, fell on her back onto the floor. I doubt she was given a verbal warning, like the liberals think other police officers have to do with armed individuals, but she wasn’t armed.

Looks like an accidental discharge to me. That kind of thing happens when you have people holding onto weapons and mingling around in close proximity.
Cripes, it happened one time in my platoon when guys were handing weapons back in after a field exercise. The sergeant was pulling back the slide on his .45 to show it was empty, it wasn’t, the slide slipped out of his hand and the round discharged, riccocheted off the floor and buried itself in the wall with a room with 20 guys in it. Easily could have killed somebody.
The Battalion CO made the Sergeant go around to every squad in the battalion with a sand barrel and give a demonstration on the proper way to clear a pistol.
