Interesting, my phone is now denying access to Free Republic, although I can still open it on my desktop.

You can download a Firefox browser and see if you can access FR with that. If Firefox works, then it is your browser like Microsoft that is blocking FR. If Firefox does not work, then it is your phone service provider like AT&T that is blocking FR.
An aside, Microsoft has sadly gobbled up Bing, too, j/s.
