This is in response to Global defense contractor IT expert testifies in Italian court he and others switched votes in the U.S. presidential race. This is a translation form the Italian story here Leonardo-Finmeccanica, chi sono (e cosa hanno fatto secondo i pm) i due arrestati.

No one in Italy testified they rigged the U.S. Presidential election. They were arrested a month ago for stealing important data from their former employer. It had nothinbg to do with the election.

We are doing a terrible job of filtering out the real from the fake. There are a lot of conservative "news" sites that have started since 2015 that are worse than the MSM. The take a story that is already in news, throw in some second rate Tom Clany or Alex Jones, and en rewrite to feed conservative paranoia about current events.

(Before anyone posts about it, the original story was written in Italy, where it is December 7 right now)

Data Theft at Defense Firm Leonardo Targeted Details of Military Aircraft: Arrest Warrant

";The inquiry, which is ongoing, was undertaken by Italian police's cybercrime divisions in Rome and Naples and Naples prosecutors. It began in January 2017 when Leonardo told police of an abnormal outflow of data from some of its computers."

Hacking at defence giant Leonardo; Police arrests two former employees

"The former employee, Arturo D’Elia, is suspected of unauthorized access to the computer systems, unlawful interception of electronic communications, and illegal processing of personal data"

"According to the experts, the traffic was produced by an alleged implant used to exfiltrate the data between 2015 and 2017."

"The exfiltrated data included confidential accounting information, aircraft designs and military secrets."

Who Watches the Watchers, Italian Style – Insider IP Theft at Leonardo
"One question often asked in security is whether an event is really a cyberattack when insiders are the ones who perpetrate the crime. Italian defense contractor Leonardo found itself asking that very question, when it discovered that a series of attacks which occurred within the Leonardo ecosystem between 2015 and 2017 had been carried out by two insiders—Antonio Rossi, a member of the company's Cyber Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) and Arturo D’Elia, who identifies himself on LinkedIn as a member of the national CERT from January 2015 through March 2018."

Exclusive: Leonardo hack targeted military plane details, arrest warrant shows

"MILAN (Reuters) - An investigation into a data theft at Leonardo has found that a hacker working inside the Italian defence group appeared to target details of Europe's biggest unmanned fighter jet programme and aircraft used by the military and police, an arrest warrant shows."

Please explain the following:

Should affidavits in Italian courts be in (1) Italian or (2) English?

If a purported affidavit on is posted in the wrong language is it (1) Real or (2) Fake?

If the purported affidavit does not address the actual charges presented to court, but does address a conspiracy theory in another country, is it (1) Real or (2) Fake?

I did come across two articles mentioning the same hacking incident containing two names Arturo D’Elia and Leonardo. I can't definitely confirm that this incident and the one reported by noqreport are the same. They could be two different incidents. noqreport, though I have not visited it everyday, did not appear to be wacky conspiracy site or routinely go hyperbole. It helps they provide some clarification on this matter, now that this allegation is raised.

One of my concerns with many smaller conservative outlets is they pick up stories and run with them without spending a few minutes checking then. The people like Powell, Gohmer, Gen. Fly and McInerney repeath them. We get our hopse up there is a silver bullet when there never was one.

There seems to be a pattern with this. The stories take a story that's in the news, then rewrites them to the hot button issue of the momement, then adds in what conservatives want to hear about the bad guys and how the good guys are going to stop them. This gets started on fringe sites, a single tweet, then less fringy picks it up, then more mainstream looking site runs it.

Some of real important news first turns up in social media. So people develop a tendency to take it seriously. However, odds that it turned out to be true are low. Sometimes it is half-right. For example, something did happen but not the way it says. More typical examples are the claims that something important happened and it will be acted upon soon, but nothing happens after the initial claim.

The alleged events about current election coverup, by its nature, are secret conspiracies aiming for perfect crime. It is difficult to prove it. Coupled with conspiratorial imagination, it presents a fertile ground for bogus news to flourish. People are looking for ground-breaking revelation leaked from a clandestine source. It is not going to turn up at more established media first.

This is what happens when MSM and "reputable" experts are engaged in wholesale coverup.

Found a Eric Metaxis show talking about this on youtube, and a article in Italian, shedding some light on this, claiming ties into Frankfurt and Scytl. There may be some there there, I'm not sure what.

My concerns are there is a lot of misinformation, deliberate disinformation, all obscuring whatever the truth is. I'll post on this later today.

If those servers were actually seized, Trump would have used them before Congress certified the election. Is that obvious?

That doesn’t make sense, it would be utterly stupid to do so!
