Alternately, you could just not take an untested injection that has not proven that it stops anything. Just a little of what i call common sense. Who knows what it does. Keep in mind that the fastest a vaccine has been brought to market before is 4 years, and typically it takes 8. Somehow, i find it unlikely that they were able to pull off the same sort of success in 8 months. Just me, though.

Denton County gets occasional shipments in, then they are supposed to notify the public so they can sign up.
Thing is, when they get a shipment they call their 65-yr or older friends and get them in. By the time word leaks the shipment is in, too late to sign up and get it.
AND THEY DONT LET ANYONE SIGN UP ON A WAITING LIST!!
No way to get it unless your primary care doc gets a shipment and right now, my primary care doc has not received any shipment.
So be friends with someone in the Denton County Health Dept office and get the shot, or just be a drunk/druggie sleeping in their doorway and by chance you will know when the vaccines in and you walk in.
Called the Denton County Health Dept the other day and the “lady” answering the phone, she started with barking “What do you want!”

Yes, I know, but to jeep peace in my home, wife unit wants me to get the vaccine ASAP because of my lung and other issues. After 43-yrs of marriage, you learn to pick your battles. This is not a fight I want to start with the wife.
The author of this article is wrong about FL and TX.
FL provides the vax to hospitals and they told the public it was “first come, first served”. That’s why people have been in long lines over night to try to get the shots.
I’m 78 and live in Tarrant Co. TX. Had to go online to a Co. website and complete an application for the vax. Received confirmation two days later that said I was on the waiting list. Now, I have to wait for them to notify me via email of time and place to get the shot. ....My disabled daughter, 56, is also on the waiting list.
