Every day, states report on how many new hospitalizations they had for covid patients. During September and October, as cases were rising, we could reliably predict how many people would be hospitalized based on the number of new diagnoses. Clinically, we know that after someone is diagnosed, it usually takes a few days before they get sick enough to be hospitalized....
But as we entered November, something began to change. For instance, on Nov. 1, the Covid Tracking Project’s seven-day average showed about 80,000 new cases – which we would predict should lead to about 2,800 new hospitalizations a week later, by Nov. 8. Instead, there were 2,600, a little fewer than expected. On Nov. 15, we had 146,000 new cases, which should have resulted in about 5,100 new hospitalizations by Nov. 22. However, there were fewer than 3,700. This pattern of declining rates of hospitalization continued through the end of November.
What is happening is pretty simple: As hospitals fill up, they are admitting fewer and fewer people...What is happening is that patients who would have been admitted to hospitals earlier in the year are not being admitted now. Indeed, by my best calculation, between a third and half of covid patients who would have been admitted in the beginning of October are now being sent home instead.

They should compare year over year numbers. Every dec, jan.. hospitals fill up, as staff get sick from the annual whatrver. We call it sick season.
The entire article needs to be read. The author is NOT a skeptic about the seriousness of SARS-CoV-2 infection and COVID-19. He is claiming that declining hospitalization is due to hospitals inappropriately turning away sick patients who subsequently are at greater risk.

Right. The author doesn't even consider that in 10 months we might have developed somewhat more effective early-stage outpatient treatment protocols. He's got his narrative and is going to push it no matter what.

No mention of all the various treatments available to mitigate the symptoms and speed the healing process. In other words just more bullsh*t to further spread fear and take attention away from the massive election fraud.

I tend to agree with you. People interpret unexplained phenomena in a manner that comports with their inherent belief system. His requires that COVID-19 is a very serious, often deadly disease, and declining hospitalizations must be due to either nefarious or inappropriate behaviors on the part of healthcare workers who triage patients. He cannot entertain the concept that those being turned away from hospital admission have mild to moderate cases that can be managed at home.
Its not just humans that are under attack. There is some kind of strange epidemic affecting evergreen trees ranging from about four to eight feet tall. Millions of these trees have been discovered in front of American homes just laying near the curb turning brown with their needle turning falling off. The disease appears to weaken the base of the trees resulting in a clean break of almost laser like precision causing UFO enthusiasts to suggest an alien connection. Most of the trees have some type of blight on their branches consisting of a white snow like substance, strange silvery strands, and other strange objects. Some have reported seeing one such tree with a growth at the topmost branch that has been liken to that of an Angel, stirring up the well known televangelist Benny Hinn to warn that it is a sign that everyone finding a tree in their yard must send a sizable donation in order to remove the curse.
