He’s okay.

Yeah, I like Ken okay. Steyn is my favorite. But I know he’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Some think his accent and sense of humor make him come across as a snooty Englishman.

Personally, I love it when people from other countries come to the mic of any show to explain what they love about the United States and why they came here. They _explain_ things and can point out the path of where a particular pet policy of the left will take us. And it’s never to a better place.

Steyn does that and makes it funny to boot. With pop-culture references most in his audience will get.

I knew Rush was going to be back next year.

Just because he had an emotional show last week doesn’t mean he was going to be dead. He didn’t come out and say he wasn’t going to make it next year.

I think its the Christmas somberness that hits people around that time. Look He will be back next year, but I think and you probably agree with me that this is a hard time for Rush.

Was that his last Christmas show?

Donno, medically speaking lung cancer is not good, and he was preparing folks to understand that he doesn’t have much time left, imo.

“...lung cancer is not good...”

Stage 4 LC is pretty much the end-of-the-line, and if it’s metastasized to other organs and bones, it isn’t ‘fixable’. Only he and his Drs know what’s really going on. I’m surprised that readily identifiable symptoms didn’t present at an earlier stage.

I like Mark; he’s probably Rush’s best sub-host.

The problem with Lung cancer is if I’m to understand, unless you are doing a biopsy for that type cancer you wont recognize cancer in its earlier stages.

Not a doctor though, so I don’t know what other methods to see cancer there are out there.

Simple X-rays will show tumors as white spots on bone. A CT-Scan and/ or MRI will easily find them. There are also blood marker tests they use.
