Anthony Quinn Warner, 63, had increasingly closed himself off prior to the bombing, neighbors told The Tennessean.
Just weeks ago, Warner built a gate in the fence, pulled his RV into the driveway, and shut the gate, neighbors told the newspaper.
It was the same vehicle authorities said Warner packed with explosives and detonated in the city on Friday, killing himself and injuring three.

In reality, he was a loner nut job that had signed away his house to some woman in another state and decided to off himself...
I love watching people who do not know this guy, his mind, or anything else...try to jump to conclusions as to what drove him to such madness.
I wonder what is going on in the minds of people on FR who are assigning all sorts of “conspiracy theories” to fit their model for how this “normal” guy could go nuts.
Some people just go nuts after being locked up and alone for a long time.
There are people on FR calling for an armed revolution who seem to hail this guy; I wonder why they are not writing manifestos and doing this all over the US. As long as they keep the people out of the way of their blasts, I say, “have a ball!”

I told my wife on Christmas Day, since the explosion happened outside the AT&T building, that he was probably part of the “5G gave us Covid” crowd.

Prolly so but the politicians don’t care. It doesn’t affect them in the slightest. They’re comfortable, secure, well paid and happy. We’re the one’s feeling the pain.
I worked in IT. The percentage of paranoid kooks is very high, relative to other professions. Many are libertarians, some are 2nd-Amendment fanatics, some belong to nutty nutritional cults.
When we interviewed potential employees, we tried to people with outstanding technical skills who were still normal people who could work with a team without causing trouble. They were hard to find.

A quick perusal of Reddit will disclose the large number of people who want to kill themselves. Mental health is the latest fad.
My guess is that he was being treated for a mental disorder like paranoid schizophrenia and went off his meds so that pendulum swung the other way.

I worked with some real nutcases. I still work with some strange people but no real nuts.
