Scientists at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research are studying the contagious new mutation of the coronavirus in the United Kingdom to see if it might be resistant to new vaccines, according to a report.
Dr. Nelson Michael, director of the Center for Infectious Diseases Research at the institute, told CNN that while there are always concerns that a shot won’t work if a virus mutates significantly, the scientists still expect the inoculations will be effective against the new strain.

I predict that the vaccines will work against the mutations, making it more important that they are MANDATED for everyone.
There’s no evidence to suggest the new strain has any changes to any parts related to immunity or immune system response. Thus, there is no expectation this will have any impact on the efficacy of the vaccines. Nor is there any evidence to suggest that people who have already had COVID-19 are any more susceptible to this new strain. This one just spreads more effectively.
