Biden's options for Russian hacking punishment: sanctions, cyber retaliation

WILMINGTON, Del. - President-elect Joe Biden’s team will consider several options to punish Russia for its suspected role in the unprecedented hacking of U.S. government agencies and companies once he takes office, from new financial sanctions to cyberattacks on Russian infrastructure, people familiar with the matter say.

The response will need to be strong enough to impose a high economic, financial or technological cost on the perpetrators, but avoid an escalating conflict between two nuclear-armed Cold War adversaries, said one of the people familiar with Biden’s deliberations, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The overarching goal of any action, which could also include stepped-up counter cyber espionage efforts, would be to create an effective deterrence and diminish the potency of future Russian cyber spying, the person said.

The unfolding crisis - and the lack of visibility over the extent of the infiltration into the computer networks of federal agencies including the Treasury, Energy and Commerce Departments - will push to the front of Biden’s agenda when he takes office on Jan. 20.

or collecting bribes/kickbacks from the “little guy”,
he promises to sell out America as the Proxy of
CHINA against Russia for a War?

More nonsense from Reuters.
The biggest meddlers in the elections were China and Iran blatantly interfering in the elections for Dementia Joe. The did not even bother to hide it.
Russian interference? What Russian interference?

Making extreme policy decisions based on suspicions is a recipe for disaster.

100 cruise missiles into the base at Tartus might say, in 0bongo speak, ‘knock it off’.

Bright idea. Let’s stack a Russian base with cruise missiles. I’ll just go buy some SPF 20,000,000 sunscreen. Let’s start a nuclear war over the latest DNC fever swamp theory.
Bright idea, I wonder who nobody else thought of it.

Show us the proof of Russian — or any other foreign governmental — involvement. No more false flags, even from Trump officials.

None of this is believable after the Wikileaks vault 7 release with the umbrage program details. The CIA has collected programs and tools to make any computer crime look like it came from wherever they want. And we are right in the middle of a government overthrow.
Nothing out of the intel world can be believed right more... nothing.

In the last year, they lied to us about the impeachment incident, the China virus, 15 days, all the shootings of blacks, the race riots, antifa, the election events, the second wave, the Biden laptop, the Seth Rich laptop, the Durham investigation, UFO tic tacs dogfighting F-18s, the voting in November, etc.

But now at this critical moment of the coup, they are really telling the truth. Just ask them if you have any doubts.

This could be easily settled if Putin pays $200 million bribe to Hunter Biden, if Russia is behind it.

Joe Biden’s team will consider several options to punish Russia right after he personally thanks Putin for the help with the election.

First, this stuff is an act of war. Not some business conglomerate neutering the opponent to be in the position to make zand seal a better deal.

Second, I believe the joebama ad ministration would love to emulate TOS Star Trek episode ...”sector 29 is destroyed, and all the humans in that sector, report to the neutralizing department there.”

I am convinced, at my age of 68, that there exists two generations of Americans without the guts to stand up and say ‘no’. Every politician with more than 2 terms has been emasculated or over-vaginized. And I do not see it getting any better.

"President-elect Joe Biden’s team will consider several options to punish Russia for its suspected role..."

Wait a second. Suspected? Where's the phrase I've been reading in every other article about President Trump the last 4 years: "Without evidence"???

Now we can suddenly take action on suspicions??

America ain't what it used to be, and I'm not the American I used to be. I believe in virtually none of the offices or institutions of this government that I used to revere, or, at minimum, respect. I have nothing for them but contempt and distrust.

Not just the niece, the 14 year old. There are many many photos on the net from the laptop, of the tatoo’d identifiable hunter in and with chi-com hookers/swallows, underage, and blowing a powder up his a@@. Seriously, coke, heroin (or both, but crystal meth absorbs as well).

The only thing missing, from public knowledge anyway— is JoeBama’s escapades and payoffs. But these will soon be known, as well as the payoffs to Harris, mentioned in the confirmed email’s from/to Bobulinski. She was put in place by the chi-coms.

While we’re on the subject— biden and team were cut-off from any intel “transition” debriefs by DOD (now in control of all spec ops.. all of them including “civilian contractors to the (C)lowns (I)n (A)ction. Direct reports to SecDef who was— up until Nov. 9th Director of the National Counter Terrorism Center to which all intel, sat, digital and cyber was organized. Along with Ratcliffe as DNI).

So- in this reuters flatulence piece- biden, like swallowswell, and his people are talking out their a@@es with no knowledge except of their own deception and deceit. So it is a obamaumao-like PR piece to cover their a@@es. Remember by this date in 2016 obi-won had made a big show of russia-russia (at the direction of his chi-com masters, and hitlery’s) by throwing out 26 Russian embassy people and shutting down their MD “dacha”. Thus creating the reason for
“fake” set up of Flynn. Because Flynn knew all about their crapola. Then, and.... now.

China used/uses internet troll ‘army’ to shape coronavirus narrative: (How many fake news trolls and diversion trolls were/are controlled by the Chicoms?)

report:

China’s propaganda and censorship operation is unmatched by any other nation in the world, a university researcher claims:

News about the coronavirus-related death of a Chinese doctor who had warned the public about the virus set off a massive propaganda and censorship effort to help the Chinese government regain control of the narrative inside the country about the rapidly growing crisis, according to a report.

The response to the Feb. 7 death of Dr. Li Wenliang and other events during the early days of the virus outbreak are outlined in leaked documents reviewed by ProPublica and the New York Times in a jointly produced article that was published Saturday.

Two main objectives of the Chinese government’s effort appeared to be making the virus impact seem less severe and making government officials appear to have a firmer grip on controlling the outbreak than they actually did, the report said.

China’s censors were worried that news about Wenliang’s death would set off a “butterfly effect” of subsequent news stories about the virus that could be damaging for the government, so they ordered news outlets not to promote stories about Wenliang and instructed social media sites to remove his name from lists of trending topics, the report said.

The censors also hired internet trolls to post “distracting chatter” on the internet to help influence public opinion as the coronavirus gradually became a bigger news story.

The Chinese government also ordered security personnel to silence commentators whose views were not aligned with those of the government, according to the report.
