But I’ve always said that Pence is a cuck and is, in a way, directly responsible for this culture war that practically caught fire when he surrendered to the RFRA battle in Indiana after only one week and this led to the Indy GOPs purge of all conservative elements - see most recently the AG Curtis Hill whom the GOP and the DNC joined forces to both smear him in the press with fake sexual escapades and then deny him the chance to rerun for the AG position. (Did I mention he was black? The press seems to curiously not care about that fact because he’s not of the proper ideology.)
Throughout the past 4 years Pence has paid lip service to Trump support but has never gone on the attack.
Which is a long winded way of saying... it’s possible. I don’t believe the source and Pence could recover his reputation and actually defend Christianity by doing it. But I wouldn’t put stock in it.
He may not have been a two-term governor, but he could be acting like one. Something to keep an eye on.
