Covering for Hunter Biden: Why Americans distrust the media

Covering for the Biden family by trying to suppress rather than report on The Post’s scoops may prove expensive for a host of US media institutions — especially the privileged social-media companies.

A majority of voters say the media intentionally buried The Post’s October bombshell about Hunter Biden’s laptop to help his father Joe Biden’s political campaign, a Rasmussen Reports poll showed Tuesday.

The poll found 52 percent of likely voters believe media companies provided scant coverage of the laptop story — which shed light on Hunter’s Ukrainian and Chinese business activities and suggested Joe Biden knew about them, despite his denials — in order to boost Biden’s prospects in the election, then a few weeks off. Only 32 percent disagreed.

Among those who said they followed the news “very closely,” more than three in four (76 percent) say the media ignored the story to help Biden.

The shameless way in which the media covered for Biden and his druggie son in order to throw the election went above and beyond their previous levels of bias and despicability. They’ve always been somewhat biased left but now they don’t even try to hide it, they just out and out lied to the American people during this election campaign. Their repeated frantic claims that the Hunter Biden story had been “proven false” in the face of obvious evidence to the contrary has removed all credibility from mainstream media. I honestly don’t know what is to be done about it. How do you fix it when the entire media apparatus is lockstep in blatantly lying to the American people and they have no intention of stopping?

To me, the crucial point is that CNN itself decided to ditch Hunter’s laptop story to save Joe Biden’s *** because many Voters have since said they would not have voted for Biden if they had known of the laptop’s incendiary contents.

CNN head Zucker provided extremely valuable services to the Biden Campaign AND the Democratic Party far in excess of Federal election Law. Ergo, Zucker has unwittingly opened up himself and CNN to criminal prosecution.
