Yes, this is encouraging but very confusing. Electors vs Electoral College. Someone please amplify.

Electors are those who are voting in the Electoral College today. All 538 electors were selected by the voters on election day in accordance with state law mandating that voters select the electors. The legislature gave that power to the voters a century or more ago. These 'electors' appear to be the slate that would have voted for Trump had Trump won the state. They have no legitimacy - either from the voters or the state legislature. Their act is basically meaningless.

This has indeed happened before. In the 1960 election, an alternate slate of electors voted.

The governor of the state then sent a letter to Congress in which he de-certified the original electors.

You’re wrong and wrong. The GA election is UNLAWFUL for failing to follow state election laws. So the slate chosen by the cheaters in GA is as illegitimate as the elector slate presented by state legislators from the GOP for Trump electors. Both go to the Electoral college for presentation.

But the GA Runoff Election is already UNLAWFUL as well, because they sent out ballots to voters who did not vote in the special election for Senators, which violates state law stating only voters who voted in the special election that is being continued as a runoff may vote in the runoff.

“No legitimacy?” You must be a Democrat.
