WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court declined Monday to take up an appeal from parents in Oregon who want to prevent transgender students from using locker rooms and bathrooms of the gender with which they identify, rather than their sex assigned at birth.
The case came from a school district near Salem, Oregon’s capital city. The federal appeals court in San Francisco had upheld a Dallas, Oregon, school district policy that allows transgender students to use bathrooms and locker rooms that align with their gender identity.
Parents sued over the policy in 2017, saying it caused embarrassment and stress.
A lower court refused to block the policy and the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed that ruling, writing that the school district did not violate students’ constitutional rights or a law that protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs.
Similar lawsuits have been dismissed by courts in other parts of the country.

This is really a sad commentary on the decline of America. If the courts rule like this, then schools should have locker rooms for transgenders, although heaven knows where they’d find the room and funds for it. Who wants their daughter in a locker room with someone who thinks they’re a girl one day and a boy the next? You’d snatch her away from such a pervert on the street, but it’s OK and even sanctioned by authorities in a school?
Gorsuch has already decreed that whatever perversion is practiced is protected under the Civil Rights Act.

The school district allowed the student to do so over the objections of some parents.”

It is the school district which is at fault, practicing/encouraging perversion. It is not about choice but hedonistic and perverted behavior condoned in a public school system. The school board and its faculty are the perverts indoctrinating such freakish behavior into these impressionable children when it should be regimental to maintain separate facilities based upon his/her junk.
The left cleverly uses language. It is as if one is arbitrarily “assigned” to be male or female, but the real thing is which out of 100 “genders” you self-identify as.

Congress must pass a strong law for President Trump to sign that will protect the rights of straight students and others from transgender encroachments.

The only complication is determining who to favor? In Ohio, men get punished in divorce.
