A state judge in Carson City, Nevada, ruled Friday against an effort by President Donald Trump’s campaign to overturn the results of the election in the Silver State based on irregularities — but said earlier in the week he expected the losing side in the case to appeal to the Supreme Court of Nevada.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported:
A District Court judge in Carson City on Friday ruled against an attempt by President Donald Trump’s campaign to overturn Nevada’s presidential election results, saying there was insufficient evidence to support fraud accusations.
Judge James Russell issued his order after hearing several hours of argument from attorneys representing both Trump and President-elect Joe Biden’s campaigns on Thursday.
Trump’s campaign echoed the president’s own calls of voter fraud and alleged that Clark County election staff failed to address 40,000 cases of double voting and thousands more illegal votes from the deceased or voters who do not live in Nevada.
Democrats argued the challenge did not identify a single voter who allegedly committed fraud, nor did it provide any other evidence to warrant overturning the will of the majority of Nevada’s 1.4 million voters.
On Thursday, Breitbart News reported, the judge heard arguments from both sides, including Democrats’ argument that dead voters’ mail-in ballots should count if the voters cast them before passing away.
The legal team representing Trump’s electors presented evidence of improper voting, but the Democrats argued that they had to show more specific evidence linking particular voters to particular actions.
The Trump team countered that if that were the standard, voter fraud could never be alleged or proven during an election.
The legal fight will likely continue,.

Let’s just Stipulate that the whole US Judiciary is majority TDS.
Trump has only ~75 million voters on his side.
The vast majority of State and Federal Judges are deeply Swamp NeverTrumpers.

Words are important. "...identify a single voter who allegedly committed fraud..." says that the Democrats were focusing on voter fraud in their response. I don't see anything in the story where the Democrats answered the question of election fraud.
"Voter fraud" is when a person illegally votes -- both mens rea along with actus reus on the part of the voter. One example is a non-citizen who votes for a Federal office in an election.
"Election fraud" is the poisoning of the process used in conducting the election. Normally election fraud is perpetrated by the people counting the vote. Adding bogus ballots to the counts, removing ballots without legal cause, incorrectly tallying votes, and falsifying the reporting of the final tally.
The judge kicked the can down the street.

I just hope Alito has four fellow Borked Justices riding behind him. The Truth is on our side, so they can be honest originalists. The needed remedy is huge, whom better to understand the need for it and whom better motivated to apply it.
The judge did us (NV voters) a favor by expediting this appeal to the SC. Either way he ruled, it would be appealed. There are huge irregularities here in NV. Even our Dem governor has admitted it.

If Nevada, the gambling capital of the USA can cheat on its elections, what’s to say they don’t do so at the card tables, roulette tables, dice tables, slot machines, et al. as well? Dishonest people should not be supported in any enterprise. Boycott NV.

Have you written your Reps and Senators, asking them to insure your vote counts by challenging the fraudulent certifications of the various stolen states? They can do that.

It might be more like the judge kicked the can up the street.
Currently, the Nevada Constitution provides for the election of Supreme Court justices and District Court judges in Nevada to 6-year terms. When a vacancy occurs between elections, the Governor appoints a justice or judge from a list of candidates recommended by the Commission on Judicial Selection.

District Judges in Nevada are elected to six year terms. It was and is a joke that Russell held a 2 1/2 hour hearing because he knew and all lawyers knew he would throw Trump lawyers out of court.
This is for 2 reasons: # 1, when he runs for re election he needs Democratic Party money and support so a decision for Trump would effectively amount to him firing himself.
# 2 He knew too that no matter how he ruled it would be appealed so he wasn’t about to fall on his sword UNNECESSARILY.
