Austin mayor stressed residents ‘need to stay home.’ He was vacationing in Cabo at the time (TX)

In early November, as health officials warned of a impending COVID-19 spike, Austin Mayor Steve Adler hosted an outdoor wedding and reception with 20 guests for his daughter at a trendy hotel near downtown.

The next morning, Adler and seven other wedding attendees boarded a private jet bound for Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, where they vacationed for a week at a family timeshare.

One night into the trip, Adler addressed Austin residents in a Facebook video: “We need to stay home if you can. This is not the time to relax. We are going to be looking really closely. … We may have to close things down if we are not careful.”

In hosting the wedding and traveling internationally, Adler said he broke neither his own order or those established by Gov. Greg Abbott.

But at the time, the city was recommending people not gather in groups of more than 10, and the day after Adler’s departure, Austin’s health authority warned that “it’s important that we drive the (COVID-19) numbers down in advance of Thanksgiving.”

Nice, a Facebook video from Cabo telling the proles to stay home. It's great to be a member of the elite.

Someone voted him in office. Maybe they like to be treated like peasants.

Regulation making and disregarding mayors and governors should be put under house arrest with a mandatory mask order. See how they like being muzzled and curtailed.

Austin mayor "Adolf" Adler is one of the slimiest, hypocritical kakistocrats in Texas. There is a campaign to recall him and the city council, but its success is doubtful. Austin has some of the most ignorant Demonicrat voters around.

And now more of Demonicrats are clogging up Austin streets (you can identify them because they wear their face diapers in the car).

True also of the national voters (minus vote fraud, of course). My rotten sister and worthless inlaws voted Dem again as they always have. Scum.

I think Trump should have setup Quarantine Zones for ALL Public Officials arriving in a State with Lockdown Mandates, Keep them in the Airport for 30 days for their own safety

Residents of blue cities must love to be abused and treated with disdain. Amazing to watch such docile people.

Comrade, please do not think for a moment that Mayor Adler enjoyed his stay in Cabo San Lucas. In fact he found traveling by private jet quite distressing. It is a scientific fact that democrat mayors require more sunshine and vitamin D to protect them from the ‘European virus’. In addition the ingredients in genuine Mexican margaritas also help him to maintain the level of health required to devote himself to Austin’s citizens’ needs.

A recall should be started to get rid of the POS. Demand his resignation for being a hypocrite and a dictator.
