This is what I have said months ago. We are going to lose a whole generation of kids. They will be too dumb to read, or write, let alone solve a math problem.

In the very best scenario where a kid is living in an intact family they may survive, but take a marginal family, or an inner city kid, and you can bet your last dollar they are getting left way, way behind. Very sad. Just wait until the university enrollment rate drops precipitously because most of these kids won't come close to passing an SAT or ACT, or maybe they'll just declare all that racist at that point. But I'm telling you, people are not factoring in the very serious national and social consequences of what we're doing with these lockdowns, and by then Biden and Fauci will long be dead so they won't see the consequences, but they sure did win the political skirmish, didn't they.

already colleges are saying they just won’t use the SAT or ACT any more. So the kids won’t have to take them. And I expect the online teachers will just pass everybody along like the inner city schools have done for generations now. After all, it’s not their problem - the teachers are getting paid.

Many, including those here, don’t care. They would rather see our colleges full of lying, cheating Communist Chinese and Indians anyways.

Colleges will just lower their standards. They will have more majors that end in the word “studies” so they don’t really teach biology, chemistry, psychology or English literature. Many forms of grievance studies will be available as well as the watered down versions of other rigorous academic disciplines.
