The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported that there were 6,669 new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 321,070.
There are 9,951 deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 81. Currently, 3,897 patients are hospitalized with the disease. Most of the patients hospitalized are ages 65 or older, and most of the deaths have occurred in patients within the same demographic.
The number of tests administered within the last seven days between Nov. 17 and Nov. 23 is 405,883 with 49,539 positive cases. There were 38,668 test results reported to the department through 10 p.m., Nov. 23.
“Another week of significant increases of COVID-19 across Pennsylvania is a call to action,” stated Governor Tom Wolf. “We need all Pennsylvanians to take the steps they can to protect one another. We need Pennsylvanians to follow the most recent orders and wear a mask, social distance, avoid travel and gatherings and wash their hands. It is only by working together that Pennsylvanians can prevent the spread of the virus.”
Gov. Wolf continues to prioritize the health and safety of all Pennsylvanians through the COVID-19 pandemic. Pennsylvanians should continue to take actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, regardless of in what county they live. This includes wearing a mask or face covering anytime they are in public. COVID-19 has been shown to spread easily in the air and contagious carriers can be asymptomatic.
In nursing and personal care homes, there are 32,536 resident cases of COVID-19, and 6,437 cases among employees, for a total of 38,973 at 1,228 distinct facilities in 64 counties. Out of total deaths, 6,292 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities.
There are 13,617 individuals who have a positive viral antigen test and are considered probable cases and 643 individuals who have a positive serology test and either COVID-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure.
There are 2,723,368 people who have tested negative to date.
The age breakdown of those who have tested positive for the coronavirus is as follows:
Ages 0-4: Approximately 1% Ages 5-12: Approximately 3% Ages 13-18: Approximately 6% Ages 19-24: Approximately 13% Ages 25-49: Approximately 37% Ages 50-64: Approximately 21% Ages 65+: Approximately 20%

They worried about people drinking themselves to death?
There must be bodies everywhere.
I look for Fauci and his covid spreaders to hit Georgia to discourage in person voting and increased mail ins.
Must be the Trump’s rallies fault. Thank goodness he’s leaving! /sarc
300+ million Americans have NOT contracted or died from CV19. 😨😷💸
They are not posting number of deaths. The number is flat at around 250,000. The same number give or take as in August.
Must . . . . . keep . . . . . . the . . . . . . panic . . . . . goooing.
And how many of these are false positives?
The good thing about Covid is it seems to have cured cancer, heart disease and various other illnesses (including natural causes in the aged). There are no hospitalization due to these other illnesses.
I'm sorry, I'm in a very vulnerable group, but we are not going to prevent sickly and elderly people from dying...its our destiny...
Very true, the NM deaths are running 50-75% daily in the elderly over 70.
2017=234K
2018=237K
2019=238K
2020=236K
So if we really lost 250K in 9 months that we would not have otherwise lost, that's about 27K per month, so our death rate SHOULD be around 263K per month, starting in March.
But it isn't.
How many cases require hospitalization????
That should be the question?
Bodies everywhere /s. Let’s take this statement “There are 9,951 deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 81”.
Wow, in a country of 330 million who has an average of 7000 folks die each day 24/7/365 this is about average.
Yet another example of the MSM/Big Tech filling the average citizen with pure BS. What will it take to wake the sheep up?
Going around,my son has it.He is starting to feel better.One of the guys at his work has it.His wife’s Mother and Father had it.I could go on.
Exactly, this virus has not followed the usual course. They are dropping covid bombs wherever they please.
I also think the numbers are grossly exaggerated.
Most of the new cases must be in the Philly area, as Allegheny County (the largest Western county) only reported 541 new cases today.
TWO POINTS.
1. 6,669 positive cases from PCR tests does not equal the number of actual COVID infections. Asymptomatic positives are highly likely to be false positives.
2. 4,000 hospitalizations with a positive PCR test still does not equal COVID hospitalizations
Unless people were given influenza tests at the onset of their respiratory symptoms, there is no way to determine whether they do not in fact have influenza instead.
