There’s no legitimate reason why voting machine software should provide an algorithm that adjusts vote totals proportionally based on some system adjustable parameter. If this is confirmed in the source code it should cause a complete audit of all electronic vote totals to document where this logic was applied to the presidential race.
That's true. But a hand recount would show if that feature was turned on or not.
That audit is a good idea ... AFTER the stae legislators assign their electoral votes to whom it was that had a lead which could not be legitimately overcome with the percent of ballots left at the time the stop the counting command came from ‘someone’ to WI, AZ, VA, MI, PA, and GA. If the subpreme court seeks to remedy the election, that moment in time is the place to toss all subsequent ballots out as suspicious.
I learned that ranked voting is the reason why they stored counts using floating point (fractional) values.
It’s a frigging terrible excuse (more than likely, it’s a lie). Anything dealing with fractional votes could be done using a post processor. The dolt that decided to do it in realtime should be jailed and never be allowed to touch a computer again.
