What branch of service were you in? Army? Air Force? My father (he passed almost 3 years ago) was in the Air Force during Korea. He’d be sick to see the results of this election so far.
According to the exit polling white men and women voted very similarly to each other (58% vs. 55% for Trump). Just like last time, white women voted for Trump. I don’t know why so many conservatives want to make distinctions between white men and women when they vote so similarly in most elections. Compared to white women, black and Hispanic women went much more disproportionately against Trump than their men.

Well, not everyone. I was pretty vocal saying it was going to be a squeaker IF we won, and that I thought there was a pretty decent chance that we wouldn't win. Of course, that's never popular here, but I prefer to be a realist vs. the "Trump's gonna sweep 49 states and win 499+ EVs!" or even the "350+ EVs - MINIMUM!" that we read far too often.
I realize we're the cool-aid crowd but at times the optimism here does get a bit out of hand when you compare to the cold hard reality of the messed up country we currently live in..
The marxists/democrats are trying to steal the election. This was the plan all along in these democrat led swing states: Stop the count if they were not ahead and then “find” but really create false ballots just enough to win for democrats.
And this exactly what democrats did in this election : They stopped counting once they saw Trump was ahead in swing states and now they are falsifying ballots to cover the lead Trump had in swing states.

He’s the Man With The Plan, IMHO. He also has ZERO fear of anything or anyone. And, he’s in America’s corner. That includes us. If he were a Romney, a McCain or even a Bush, I too would be throwing up my hands in defeat. But he’s none of those things. :-)
Think I need to take a breather from FR for the rest of today. Too much defeatism, carping, and pessimism all around. Take care, and try to keep the faith. This election is far from over.
Thank God Trump has never held the “throw-in-the-towel” / “it’s all over” attitude that seems to have seeped into FR...
Great plan - split the (R) party into two..
I agree that the Repubs have done a mostly horrible job and DESERVE to go the way of the Whigs. But if we have a “MAGA” party and a traditional (R) party, we’ll never win another election in any of our lifetimes.
That said, after Biden gets done packing the courts, opening the borders, etc, we will probably never win another election in our lifetimes ANYWAY, so there’s that...
AZ is the key, but I just don’t see how we overcome a 95K+ deficit with 14% of the vote apparently remaining.
What am I missing? (And I sure hope to be missing something, as we NEED AZ).

Indeed. And the problem with irrational mania is that, when disappointed, it leads to irrational depression. I think it’s a little better than 50-50 that Trump pulls it out, but even if he doesn’t, there are a lot more fronts to this war than just the Presidential election.
We’re holding the Senate, we’ve picked up seats in the House, we’ve picked up state legislatures, and we control the Supreme Court. There will be no Green New Deal, court packing, assault weapons ban, or tax hike. Biden, should he win, will not be an effective president and will probably not be president for long. Can you imagine the lengths to which they will have to go to hide him as President? If Harris succeeds to the Presidency, she will be ineffective and deeply unpopular. And if she succeeds to the Presidency, McConnell will have a say in who, if anyone, is appointed Vice President.
Both because of our advantage in redistricting and because of history, we will probably take back the House in 2022 if Biden wins. If so, I sure expect them to impeach Biden and/or Harris on whatever grounds they can find—election fraud for starters.
Whether Trump wins or loses, this isn’t over by a long shot.
I think we were deluding ourselves if we thought this was going to be a Trump landslide. It was always going to be close, if for no other reason than a big chunk of the American public has been told how absolutely terrible (and racist..and mysoginist..and..and..) Trump is for the past nearly 4 years.
Few seem to have voted FOR Biden, but a large number of Dems and Is voted AGAINST TRUMP. So here we sit..

I always said Trump’s margins of victory in Michigan and Wisconsin were likely too slim to be repeated. I guess people are gullible and still listen to the media’s lies.

Agree, but the problem would appear to be that those 138,339 ballots are now mixed in with the big pile of millions of other votes, and you’ll never find them to see if the down-ballot votes ALSO went 100% Dem - which of course, they didn’t.
If we lose (and I think we will at this point), maybe Tom Cotton or Tim Scott for 2024?
Indiana reported by I think 9pm this year a little later than usual. But still acceptable.

These are both mostly rural states with one major supermetro with a substantial minority population, and a bunch of nice second-class cities and college towns.
WHY IS IT EVEN ACCEPTABLE FOR MICHIGAN TO COUNT FOREVER WHEN 2 NEIGHBOR STATES -- INDIANA AND KENTUCKY -- THAT ARE CLONES OF TOPOGRAPHY AND POPULATION, ADHERE TO THE GOLD STANDARD OF VOTING AND VOTE COUNTING??
