As we march inexorably toward Election Day, keep in mind the Democratic Party no longer has moderates. It's been hijacked by extremists. Whether Trump wins or loses, we're getting disturbing hints about what the Democrats have in store for anyone who votes for Trump. Consider some examples:
• "Letters threaten to burn down homes of Trump supporters." "Dear neighbor, You have been identified by our group as being a Trump supporter. Your address has been added to our database as a target when we attack should Trump not concede the election."
• "U.C. Berkeley prof and former secretary of labor proposes post-election commission to censor and blacklist Trump supporters – and leftists on Twitter salivate over the idea." "He wrote on Twitter over the weekend that 'when this nightmare' – or Trump's presidency – 'is over, we need a Truth and Reconciliation Commission. It would erase Trump's lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness, and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.'"

IMO, rioters have been handled gently up until now. I think that’s largely been a matter of politics. Trump’s re-election would have been jeopardized by an armed federal reaction — with citizens being gunned down in the streets. No one wanted that. Least of all Trump.
After the election, I don’t expect mass slaughter — no one wants that. But I also don’t think the government will stand by and allow shenanigans to continue as they have been.

In my car I finally swapped out my Ruger .380 for a Glock 19 Gen 4 with an additional 33 round magazine in the glovebox, just so I can go all “Grand Theft Auto” on anyone who attacks.
I figure my odds of needing it are about 1%, but you never know what the future brings. It might bump up to 10% after the election. That may not sound like much, but would you commute if every day your odds of dying in a crash was 10%? I wouldn’t.
It’s nice to live in the country in these times. Any deranged mobs who head out my way will likely be eaten by the squirrels before they get here. We have badass squirrels.

Rubber bullets contain a steel core. Them, and 12 gauge baton or bean-bag rounds take the fun out of rioting, for your average person. A good place to start. Once the dilettantes are weeded out, I think FMJ might be called for in cases of looting.
