The U K and Scotland have no Bill of Rights as we have in the USA. They have some rights under the common law but no guarantees of free speech, gun ownership and the laws on search and seizure is weaker than ours.

Their form of government has no written constitution and is from various acts such as Magna Carta, rights of parliament and the sovereign’s power is more of a figurehead than a ruler now.

More like the peasants got thrown out of Scotland during the Highland clearances. The lairds traded crofters (farmers) for sheep. This was not voluntary on the part of those ejected.
