You mentioned the USC tracking poll (the USC/Dornsife Poll). In 2016, they hit the popular vote on the nose, and when they rolled out their 2020 version, they said that “we were right in 2016 for the wrong reasons” and announced several changes. One that stuck out was that they had been polling too many rural voters in 2016, so they would be reducing that sample. Is that a confession that they want to join the liberal poll crowd or was it just stupidity? (I did the job perfectly, therefore I’m going to do it differently next time).
