Rahm & the Democrats are intentionally lying to the American people, as always. Actually, the GOP said four years ago that there's no way Democrat Obama and the Republican Senate could possibly reach an agreement on a SCOTUS nominee, so it wasn't worth a hearing. So wait til after the election. In 2020, the Republicans control both the Presidency and Senate, so it's an entirely different situation -- Apples & Oranges. If there were a Democrat President & Democrat Senate, Dems would have done the same thing.

Dems had plenty of time to evaluate ACB. U.S. Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) had plenty of time to evaluate ACB -- Hirono even grilled ACB on whether she ever sexually assaulted anyone or was ever charged with sexually assaulting anyone. And after Hirono's very high-minded & incisive analysis of ACB's qualifications, Hirono firmly voted "Hell No!" If Hirono didn't have enough time to evaluate ACB's candidacy, she surely wouldn't have voted "Hell No!" She instead would have voted, "Not Quite Sure! Not Enough Time!"
They should have convinced RBG to retire...under the Gay One. Then they could have had potentially their "own"...Supreme.
