Over 1 Million Republicans Have Voted Early in Battleground Florida

Over one million Republicans have voted early in battleground Florida, according to data from the Florida Division of Elections.

All 67 counties in Florida now offer early in-person voting, and while Democrats have, thus far, held an advantage in overall voter turnout in the Sunshine State, Republicans are narrowing the gap day by day.

According to Monday’s data, 1,020,877 Republicans cast their ballots early, compared to 766,794 Democrats who have done the same. This gives the GOP a 254,083 advantage in early voting alone. While it is true that Florida Democrats hold an overall advantage due to an increase in absentee voting — 1.8 million to the GOP’s 1.2 million — Republicans have gained on that lead by outpacing Democrats in early voting.

Democrats held a 486,797 overall voter turnout advantage on October 21. On Monday, Republicans narrowed the gap to 354,654.

The update comes on the heels of the GOP narrowing the voter registration gap in the Sunshine State. Following year-long efforts by Republicans in Florida, including Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), the GOP reduced the Democrats’ lead to just over 134,000 registered voters. That reflects the slimmest lead Democrats have held over Republicans in terms of voter registration in the state’s history. Overall, the trajectory has appeared to bode well for the GOP.

In 2012, Democrats held a 535,987 voter registration advantage in the state. Republicans narrowed the advantage to 327,428 in 2016, with Trump winning the state by fewer than 113,000 votes.

As of Monday, over 6 million voters, overall, had cast their ballots in Florida, whether by mail or by voting early.

My brother who lives in Virginia a Navy vet a die-hard Democrat. Has switched and is making it adamant that we ALL vote for Trump. Was a shock for me. But an awesome switch as the things being uncovered about Biden will sink the USA as we know it.

I keep telling the story of my niece in West Hollywood that was a super liberal and is now voting for Trump plus she just got a pistol. She told me that a lot of her friends are switching to Trump. There’s a lot going on.

Just because 766,794 Democrats voted... Doesn’t mean that they voted Democrat. Republicans can’t get elected without Democrat votes, because the Democrats register anybody with a heartbeat.

Am I correct in saying that as at close of polls on Tuesday the Democrat advantage in total voting in Florida has decreased to under 300,000?

I voted early but in person. Let’s get out the vote and don’t forget to read and heed my tagline, all.

Yes. Every weekday, the Florida Republicans are taking a 40,000-50,000 bite out of the Democrats’ lead. It is below 300,000 now. It was thought the Democrats needed at least a 650,000 vote lead to withstand the Trump surge on voting day. Obviously they’re going to be nowhere close to that.

Lots of registered Democrats in Florida have consistently crossed over and voted for Republican presidents. That’s why Democrats have long underperformed in Florida where they had a registration advantage ever since the end of the Occupation (aka Reconstruction).

In 2008, Democrats had a registration advantage of 800,000
It fell to about 600,000 something in 2012. It fell to 330,000 when Trump won in 2016. It has fallen to about 150,000 now.

It’s 299K now, but also 1.2 Million, no party affiliation. If we assume 60/40 for the no/party, that’s another 240K for Biden - still under the 600K threshold they may need. I’m hopeful.

Why would you assume a 60/40 split in favor of Biden? I would think the opposite, the majority of unaffiliated voters will go to Trump. Under a 60/40 split for Trump, the 299k becomes 49k.

Interesting that in Miami-Dade the Rs are leading in Early Voting by over 5000. This must be due to the heavy Cuban- and Venezuelan-American voting for Trump bc there are far more registered Ds than Rs in that county.

That's amazing, and bodes well for Trump and other R's running in FL.

The Miami-Dade numbers are a very big clue—Republicans are much more motivated to turn out than Democrats.

It is obvious to anyone who can be honest with themselves—the Trump side is highly motivated and determined, the Bye Done campaign is just sleep-walking.

The President will easily win the electoral vote, and will win the popular vote.

The “experts” who claim otherwise are clueless fools and/or sociopathic liars.

Voted yesterday in NC. Did not want to be standing in line on Election Day...when the rioters roll into the polls.

My Puerto rican niece and her Hispanic husband shared her FB mutual friend counts with me. Trump 99+, Biden 12. She’s from pompano Beach. She says they stay quiet.

In my FL county, R votes are steamrolling over D votes. In fact, total R votes nearly exceed D + No Party Affiliation votes. 49% of registered voters have cast ballots already.

It is a beautiful thing to see.

That is wonderful news! There must be many more like her.

I am still in amazement about the car parade in Miami a couple weeks ago sponsored by Hispanics for Trump. The Miami PD estimated at least 30,000 vehicles participated in the parade.
