He lost to Karen Handel 52-48 in a special election for the House seat vacated by Tom Price. It was the most expensive House election in history at that time, with Ossoff spending about $30 million of mostly outside money in his unsuccessful campaign.

The DNC, Soros, and the other usual outside-money suspects. Ossoff spent $30 million in 2016 in his losing campaign against Karen Handel.
