1. Almost all of these posts require Senate confirmation, so get over the idea that President Trump has a free hand to appoint loyalists to them.
2. If he only appointed loyalists back in 2017 he probably would have named Michael Cohen as his AG. Imagine what a disaster THAT would have been.
