During the Thursday night debate, the issue was raised of missing "immigrant" children and parents who couldn't be located and reunited.

The claim was made in a lawsuit by the ACLU (and promoted by NBC).

The fact is the Trump administration has tried to find the missing parents but the parents have declined to accept their children back.

Via Twitter, a DHS spokesperson said, “This narrative has been dispelled. In the current litigation, for example, out of the parents of 485 children whom Plaintiffs’ counsel has been able to contact, they've yet to identify a single family that wants their child reunited with them in their country of origin.”

Asked about the report, White House spokesperson Brian Morgenstern said, that many of the parents “have declined to accept their children back...It's not for lack of effort on the administration’s part."

As President Trump stated last night, I’m skeptical that many of these kids arrived with their biological parents in the first place. I suspect many are kidnapped children entering the abhorrent pedophilia pipeline.

It may be cold-hearted, but separating kids is a strong deterrent to illegal entry of families.

Notice how the issue of illegal immigration has disappeared from the news the past six months due to building the wall, ending catch and release, military on the border, and Mexico stepping up their enforcement and turning back the caravans.

This is so sad because it’s likely these children were sold by their parents to traffickers. The kids cant be reunited because the Cartels who bought them would exact revenge.

The ‘parents’ are not the parents.

As a clue, America no longer has ‘orphanages’, rather it has transitioned to foster care.

But take Mexico, it has large orphanages and no foster care.

Can you see what goes on here?

The humane and simple solution is for the Trump administration to allow the parents to return to the U.S. to reunite with their children but the administration is not allowing that.

No, the humane and simple solution (for the American people!) would be to return the illegal alien children to their parents.

So now our border patrol's job is to provide family services and travel to illegals and traffickers?

The parents, aren’t parents. And the real parents rented their kids out to illegals crossing the border. Take DNA tests. You will see they are not parents. These 500 kids are lucky. They don’t have to continually walk through the desert any more.

Don’t forget the human trafficking of children where the dna of the “parents” didn’t match their supposed children.
Amazing how that flared up and then vanished.

That’s because they were trafficked.

> Lawyers appointed by a federal judge to identify migrant families who were separated by the Trump administration say that they have yet to track down the parents of 545 children and that about two-thirds of those parents were deported to Central America without their children, according to a filing Tuesday from the American Civil Liberties Union.

Can someone explain to me how libs can sue the government over some made-up BS they heard about on CNN, and then have the judge hire more libs to go on a wild goose chase in search of some plaintiffs? What authority does the judge have to intercede on their behalf like this?

> they’ve yet to identify a single family that wants their child reunited with them in their country of origin.”

Of course the families don’t want the kid back where they will have to feed and clothe him. They want the kid to stay in the USA where he will get free food, free housing, free education, free college, welfare, be paid in cash for his untaxed off-the-books job, send remittances every month, and be an anchor for future family reunions.
If the government knows where the family is they know where to send the kid.

They are not genetically related to the so called “parents” and cannot be returned legally to the strangers that brought them over the border.
.........
This was well known to ALL when it happened, the left is rehashing this old story to make Trump look bad.
..........
Besides, the real parents were paid for these children and would have to give the money back to the local traffickers if they show up to get their kids.
...........
Disgraceful, selling your own children. The parents were also told that their kids would be adopted and have a much better life en Los Estados Unitos por los gringos rico.

During Obama’s reign, child traffickers intercepted with children on the US side of the border were taken to a facility and the trafficker, claiming to be the parent, would say the child’s relatives (actually traffickers) were US citizens and would pick up the child. The trafficker would be allowed to return to Mexico to find or purchase more children to bring to the border.

The contact info for the fake relatives (actually traffickers) would summon them to pick up the child. No further contact took place - the detention facility was lax about who picked up the kid and never checked on the kid again.

Highly lucrative, sick business. So Trump’s admin was working on pilot program(s) to interrupt this process. One program was to detain both “dad” and child while awaiting DNA tests (mouth swabbed) to establish parentage. The fact that so many parents “didn’t want their children back” probably means that at least some of those were trafficked and not their parents in the first place.

so 485 parents are using their own children as defacto hostages in a bid to gain citizenship for themselves. Which brings into question how those same children will be treated if they were reunited with their abandoning parents. Return those children to their nation of origin and let that nation care for them as wards of their state, and investigate/prosecute the parents for abandoning/selling those children. They are not our problem they are the originating nations’ problem.
