The moment Donald Trump and Joe Biden appeared on the stage, Trump was in control. He looked robust, while Biden appeared frail and slow. Trump’s dominance extended beyond looks. He ably defended his record against attacks from both Biden and the moderator, Kristen Welker. He also politely, but insistently, pressed Biden on his decades of failure, the damage he caused to the black community, and his corrupt dealings with his son, Hunter. It was a rout.
Those expecting Trump to be a bit of a madman, as he was during the first debate, were disappointed. Trump, having achieved his goal during the first debate of forcing Biden to alienate some of his base, no longer needed the madman tactic. This time, Trump was charming, polite, and endlessly upbeat about America’s prospects. Biden, meanwhile, literally said that America was “about to go into a dark winter. A dark winter.”

Showing either chutzpah or stupidity, Biden was the first to raise his son’s hard drive, although he did so obliquely. When Welker asked about the recently revealed Russian and Iranian election interference, Biden announced that Trump’s own national security advisor said that Rudy Giuliani, “his buddy,” is a Russian pawn. That was the signal for Trump to hammer Biden about the $3.5 million Hunter received from Russia, the China dealings, and Burisma. For the rest of the debate, Trump never let those subjects go. I was too nervous to watch the debate, but I am glad things turned out okay.
I was too. They are always so unfair to Trump but this debate was historical.

One of his best lines was when Biden says: “where is this guy from”?, and Trump mouths: “Queens”. Just classic Trump.
I watched the first 5 minutes of the the first debate and have not watched anymore since — not even the VP debate. I’m glad. It raises my blood pressure to boiling point to hear Biden and Harris tell lie after lie with the moderator helping them. Nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, could change my mind for Trump, so I decided for peace of mind versus a stroke.
Trump must have taken advice from master debater Jeffrey Toobin.

I broke out in hives before the debate (plus I’d worked outside all day & gotten exposed to some mold/mildew) & couldn’t drink. Bummer. I “watched” on the FR live thread & I’m thrilled President Trump did so well - prayers answered.
Do you realize this is Trump’s LAST debate ... EVER? I’m sure he’s very happy about that. Supposedly, he walked off the stage & told his waiting staff “Let’s finish this!” and they were off to the airport. Now he can do what he loves best - rallies, where he can feel the love of a grateful people and re-charge his energy stores. He’s a happy warrior - survived COVID, economy coming back, things looking “up”.
Trump spoke truth from his heart. The best was when he said he ran because of BO and Joe. Biden was rehearsed, insincere, a phony, a liar. I envisioned “BCF” emblazoned on his forehead (Biden Crime Family).
I had walked into the kitchen when that happened!!! Do you have a link or approximate time so I can look it up?

Now after Obama’s terrible campaign showing this week...it id now confirmed that Obama, Biden & Harris are complete 100% “ZEROS”!!!

I was thinking about that last night, too. I don’t know whether to feel happy or sad about that - these things are hard to take because of the endless biased moderators.

He asked the question several times which was effective because Joe never responded each time. The last time he asked Joe, he was looking right at Biden, who was looking down at his podium like he had been caught. Very effective to anyone watching.
I didn’t think I would watch the debate but I did. And I’m glad I did. Trump was not perfect, he left a lot on the table he could have beaten Biden over the head with. But he did well. Biden, on the other hand, looked like the political relic he is. Old, weak, confused and sometimes incoherent.
It was a clear win for Trump.
He didn’t mouth it, he said it out loud. I heard “Queens” and I had looked away from the screen.
The MSM is pulling out all the stops to push their failed candidate (Biden) over the finish line at the expense of the future of America.
Yes it was.
I watched most of it but had to turn it off. My blood pressure was rising from watching the blatant lies coming out of Biden’s mouth every time he had the floor. And the interruptions of President Trump from the moderator. I didn’t see her interrupting Biden.
