Remdesivir save my wife’s life when she got Covid a few weeks ago. She is highly immunosuppressed due to a transplant she received and was in grave danger. This stuff really worked to knock the virus down. Not a cure, but an effective tool to give patients an edge in fighting off the power and aggressiveness of Covid.
What’s not to like? Zero efficacy and expensive.

i don’t know why: study after study has shown it doesn’t do diddly squat ... our local hospital refuses to use it for that reason, namely it’s an insanely expensive treatment that doesn’t work ...
granted, the biggest (and newest) study is a W.H.O. study and that study pretty much claimed nothing worked, so is suspect, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re wrong about remdesivir, as even the most optimistic remdesivir study claimed that it only reduced the illness recovery time by less than a day ...

I got a nasty infection of the Red China plague 6 weeks ago. For 4 days I got winded and very tired from simple household tasks such as showering and going up stairs. I improved markedly in a few days after being treated with Remdesivir plus a steroid. I will say though that I might have improved anyways. I’m still robust enough and have no chronic conditions.

Regneron seems to be effective but this one is like the typical hit-miss Flu “vaccines”
We don’t need all this crap when we can keep 99.9 something of folks from dying from the bug.
