It is not a magic bullet. So far there are no magic bullets. But combined with other treatments we are making steady progress on the mortality rate. We need to use what we have, not what we wish we had.
This is why we cannot have nice things. Some people just need to shit all over positive developments.
So in your medical opinion what drug[s] helped Pres. Trump beat Corvid so quickly?
I am not paid any differently to use remdesivir or not use it. How many patients have you treated and what were you paid?
It helped (Not sure if it saved) but it really helped my boyfriend.

The very expensive drug that is widely reported to have minimal beneficial impact gets FDA approval.
The very cheap, old, safe, and proven drugs that are widely reported to have BIG impact do not have FDA approval for COVID.

I imagine since not all patients are the same, having a choice of meds that can be better tailored to individual patients is a good thing.

Treatment? There can be no treatment, only a vaccine approved by Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci can save us all from immediate death, resurrection, and re-death. This virus is so deadly that it kills you at least twice. We are all already dead multiple times. Vaccine only! Because Science!!

Remdesivir save my wife’s life when she got Covid a few weeks ago. She is highly immunosuppressed due to a transplant she received and was in grave danger. This stuff really worked to knock the virus down. Not a cure, but an effective tool to give patients an edge in fighting off the power and aggressiveness of Covid.
What’s not to like? Zero efficacy and expensive.
