Let's see... this is an attempt at an October Surprise to shore up Biden in Wisconsin. Clearly Wisconsin is viewed as a prob for the Demwits, entertainment industry nitwits have been practically camped out there. The only thing left for the House drama queens and their media stooges to do is tie this failure to build to the riots the DNC incited.
Says it all. Thanks.
the article is about foxconn betrayal in the usa
there is a hardcore democrat socialist doing the american betraying.
fox con is disengaging from china and moving else where
hence, the close ties are disintegrating
With most of its factories in Communist China?
The same Biden that we now have bonafide evidence of direct, financial/business ties with Chi-coms?
Yes. They moved from Taiwan for the same reasons that Apple and others moved from America. As life improved, Taiwan lost the competitive edge and moved production to the Mainland.
The or at least many of the reasons are no longer applicable.
The American betrayer in question seems to be the governor of Wisconsin who welched on the deal with Foxconn
It is apparently unrelated to Biden
They don't give the anything, they just confiscate less of the money earned. One hundred percent of nothing equals nothing which is where they started. Consider that they pay salaries which the state also taxes with out discounts. I those workers were not working how much revenue would the state receive?
Other than that they need a huge work force (in the hundreds of thousands) which Taiwan lacks as does the USA
How many lazy-butts sit at home drawing a check to NOT work here in the US? We don’t have a workforce problem (numerically), we have a lazy problem.
note that they have received no money, so not much of a scam, and apparently Walker was smart enough to write the contract so that they got no money.
We dont have a workforce problem (numerically),

When it comes to building mega-factories which Foxconn in Wisconsin was the “starter kit” for, which town, city state has 200,000 workers for one factory alone? Foxconn employs 1.2 million people in 15 factories; the smallest plant uses 80,000 workers while the biggest plants use 400,000 workers - and they still face a labor shortage!
The US has 330 million people of that 166,499,849 were employed in 2019; China and India have 1.5 billion each. China’s labor force was 776,400,000 in 2019. So who has the larger labor force?
Lazy has nothing to do with it. Scale is everything.
Foxconn appears to be a huge con game being run by a ‘Taiwanese’ company w/ close ties to Beijing.
What was the original proposal slated for? How many workers did Foxconn originally promise to hire? I’m fairly sure it wasn’t 200,000, or even 80,000.
Keep in mind, Foxconn’s mega factories in China all have many lines, manufacturing many different products. The Foxconn facility in Wisconsin was supposed to be more limited in scope, as far as products are concerned (a fairly new concept for Foxconn).
13500 - but it was not just the plant, it was the building out of the infrastructure needed from grocery stores to housing complexes to major highway expansions and additional lanes on the interstate. The area is totally rural with only small towns. The total needed for all of this construction was over 100,000 workers and their families. Had it been completed as envisioned, Wisconsin would have had another major city.
