48 to 42, who were the RINOs who voted to shut it down?
GREAT Q. Very important Q. Dunno answer.

Well, apparently 5 Dems never even bothered to show up to vote against it either. Republicans only needed 48 votes, so once they got 48 votes(Dems only have 47 seats), they called it a day.

I thought it was 48 GOP Senators outvoted 42 Dems, with the remaining 10 either abstaining or not present.

There are 53 Republican and 47 Democrat senators. Appears with a 48 to 42 vote that maybe 5 on each side did not vote for whatever reason. Sometimes a yea and a nay will pair up and agree to miss the vote. If this is the case, would like to know which 5 Repubs did not vote.
