Still smarting over his botched ceremonial pitch at the opening game between the Yankees and the Nationals, Dr. Anthony Fauci is open for a do-over at Citi Field, according to a report.
WCBS 880 anchor Michael Wallace offered the nation’s top infectious diseases doctor the opportunity to try his hand on a mound again.
“As you may know, we are the Mets station here in New York on WCBS, so my program director wanted me to let you know if you ever want to try a first pitch do-over at Citi Field, we could probably arrange that,” Wallace said.
