He appeared to be conservative when he was running as Lt. Gov. of Maryland with former 2 term Republican governor Bob Ehrlich. And then as an unsuccessful Repub candidate for the US Senate in Md. I lived and voted Republican in MD at that time.
I liked what he was doing as head of the RNC, but somewhere he has lost his way. His stating he was voting for Buyden was the end of my respect for him. Unfortunately, with this statement, he violated the old rule of ‘when you get to the bottom of the hole, stop digging.
