Kirstie Alley has doubled down on her support for President Donald Trump, accusing his rival Joe Biden of making 'pretty constant' racial slurs. In an interview Monday night with Fox News' Sean Hannity, the 69 yr. old actress laughed off the criticism since her Saturday night tweet declaring she was voting for Trump. She also slammed Democratic nominee Joe Biden, and suggested he might be racist. 'When your gaffes are constantly - when he said, you know, 'you ain't black if you're not voting for me,' and you know these constant gaffes that have these actual racist overtones,' Alley said. 'And I'm like, no, you maybe get one where you accidentally said something inappropriate but it's pretty constant. I mean, it is constant, isn't it? Those are racial slurs.'

Alley came under attack on Twitter Saturday night after declaring: 'I'm voting for Donald Trump because he's NOT a politician.' The Cheers actress shared her views on the presidential race, tweeting: 'I voted for him 4 years ago for this reason and shall vote for him again for this reason. He gets things done quickly and he will turn the economy around quickly. There you have it folks there you have it'.

But Alley, who is a high profile follower of the Church of Scientology, quickly faced backlash for her tweet. It had been shared more 60,000 times and liked 204,000 times as of Sunday morning. Alley's name was soon trending on the site. Her views sparked a fierce reaction online from some, including director Judd Apatow, who tweeted: 'Shelly Long was way funnier than you.' Long starred alongside Alley in Cheers.

Actress Patricia Arquette tweeted: 'Well my vote for Biden canceled yours out. I have done my civic duty of the day.'

West Wing star Bradley Whitford added: 'Exactly, @kirstiealley, @realDonaldTrump gets things done! Like the wall he built that Mexico paid for, the healthcare plan that he passed, the infrastructure plan, the way he neutralized the NK nuclear threat, and the way he released his taxes and kept us all safe! Great point!'

Thirtysomething actor Ken Olin said: 'So, @kirstiealley joined others on the island of disgruntled former celebrities where Donald Trump is the king. Let them fly their freak flag. Who cares? Certainly not the public. It is what it is. If we vote, we win. Stay focused.'

Comedian Natasha Rothwell, a writer for Saturday Night Live, said: 'Kirstie Alley's tweet screamed 'I can't read! I don't watch the news! Black Lives Don't Matter! My body, your choice! and Pussies wear masks! And sexuality is a preference! But all I can think about is how 87% of the people on here will have to google who she is.'

Alley, who starred in Look Who’s Talking, followed up her tweet with: ‘Don’t think I’ve ever seen so much name-calling in my life.

‘Definitely not on my site [sic] here anyway I guess I’m not allowed to have a viewpoint without being called a really nasty names by what I’m going to suppose are really nasty people.’

She added: ‘Stick to your guns. Not always easy to be under fire but always easier than going against your own integrity.

Some did rush to praise the actress. GOP rising star Kim Klacik wrote: ‘Your bravery is appreciated.’

It begs belief how the liberals who are so “accepting” show their true nasty selves to “one of their own” who doesn’t fall into lock step with them is it not?

She was on Fox and Friends this morning. So was Dean Cain.

They are monsters. But Kirsty is worth about $40 million or so, so she can pretty much say what she wants and if Hollywood screws her over she will be okay.

What I would love to see is the really wealthy ones on our side create their own movie studio.

Mel Gibson is worth even after the divorce what, three or four hundred million?

Bruce Willis leans right and he’s worth a bunch. Sylvester stallone. Chuck Norris has to be worth a few bucks.

if they made conservative movies they would make a lot of money.

Hollywood conservatives need F.U. money before espousing an opinion in the ‘land of the free.’

Don’t forget Clint Eastwood. He’s done some pretty, darn good films on his own credits. Gran Torino was excellent.

I remember her with Tim Allen in a comedy where they were helping some Amish- types. Tim Allen is with us too, if I remember correctly

I have always enjoyed Kirsty’s work. She and I are the same age and with age comes clarity. I am really glad she spoke out. I know there are a wealth of celebs that are at least ‘lean Conservative’, but cannot out themselves as they still need to work in the industry.

GO, KIRSTY! And bring Kelsey Grammer with you!

She was amazing in the North and South movie. Interestingly enough she played an ultra liberal who married a black man when it was something that could get you killed off!

You don’t use your own money to make films. You use other people’s money. This is business 101.
