'There is no intelligence that supports that,' Director of National Intelligence Ratcliffe says
Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe on Monday said that Hunter Biden’s laptop “is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” amid claims from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff suggesting otherwise.
Ratcliffe, during an exclusive interview on FOX Business’ “Mornings with Maria,” was asked about the allegations from Schiff, D-Calif., who over the weekend said that the Hunter Biden emails suggesting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden had knowledge of, and was allegedly involved in, his son’s foreign business dealings.
“It’s funny that some of the people who complain the most about intelligence being politicized are the ones politicizing the intelligence,” Ratcliffe said. “Unfortunately, it is Adam Schiff who said the intelligence community believes the Hunter Biden laptop and emails on it are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.”
He added: “Let me be clear: the intelligence community doesn’t believe that because there is no intelligence that supports that. And we have shared no intelligence with Adam Schiff, or any member of Congress.”
Ratcliffe went on to say that it is “simply not true.”
“Hunter Biden’s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign,” Ratcliffe said, adding again that “this is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.”
Ratcliffe’s comments come after House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff over the weekend described the emails as being part of a smear coming “from the Kremlin,” amid claims the revelations are part of a Russian disinformation campaign.

The major network news shows are already in FULL “Russian Interference” mode. They’re reporting it as fact. They even have photos of Rudy meeting with Russians as “PROOF”.
IMO, this story has NO LEGS, and will not gain traction. For starters, how fishy does it look that Hunter’s laptop was supposedly turned in to a blind computer repair guy? I mean, really? Boris and Natasha could have turned it in and the guy wouldn’t have known who they were.
Alternate news is great for us news-junkies. But, there are still a TON of people who only get their news from the major networks, and... God help us, Facebook. Those people will hear NOTHING BUT... ‘Russian interference, Rudy is complicit’.

The sad part is that many people will read the headline and interpret it to mean “the allegations aren’t true”. Phrasing in a headline is critical and this was an EPIC FAIL.
It needed to say that “The Information on Hunter’s Laptop Appears to be TRUE!”
The guy is “legally” blind and uses a monocle to magnify for the detailed work he does.

If there’s videos of Hunter torturing young chinese children as those who have seen the images alleged, it’s not going to matter if Putin hand delivered it to Rudy.
"Legally Blind". According to this story, using a monocle, he's able to read things at a distance of up to 8". But, he couldn't identify people standing only a couple of feet away.
