Scam Artist Uses Black Lives Matter Movement to Threaten Fort Mill Ice Cream Shop

A scam artist got away with $122 from a Fort Mill ice cream shop after threatening to lie about them to the media, according to a police report.

The manager of Cold Stone Creamery in Kingsley Town Center said a black female came into the shop on Oct. 1 while a young employee was working.

“(She) stated that she had an issue with the way she was treated during a previous visit to the business,” a police report says. “She wanted a full refund for the items that she purchased, totally $122.72.”

The suspect would not let the employee contact the manager or owner. She then made a threat.

“If (the employee) did not refund her, she would contact the media and tell them that the business does not support the Black Lives Matter movement,” the police report says.

These employee needs better training and the bosses need to make it clear that stuff like this goes to THEM.

Georgia State Patrol lost her. Her cart was going 5 mph on the Interstate. They caught up but they were using electric patrol cars and the batteries ran out. They proceeded with the hot pursuit on skateboards but she lost them. “So long, suckas” was heard on the audio recording.
