Who has this virus??
I live in Ground Zero, nyc, on staten island.
I know no one nor do I know anyone who knows someone who has or has had this virus.
I have 42 first cousins. 20 aunts and uncles.
No one has it nor do they know anyone who does.
Obviously it’s real because people are getting it.
I just don’t know anyone personally.
Out of many hundreds of people.
In Ground Zero.
Count yourself lucky, or blessed, then. We have friends here in GA who have died and who are struggling with long term problems, including a local fire chief who has PT to learn to walk and talk again after being intubated.
I know Id no one personally who has died of the flu, polio, TB, and only one of cancer.
That doesnt make those diseases less real.
I’m in Colorado. I know 7 people who have had it, no deaths. 5 are friends, two are in my extended family in Mass. A cousin and her son.
No deaths or hospitalizations, all have recovered.
I do the same thing with anybody who wants to listen to me and everybody always comes up with the exact same thing
Or where they say hey I think I had it but beat it.
I think me and my other son both had it in February before anybody heard this thing and we just beat it with the colloidal silver that I make every day
You probably know quite a few people who had it with very mild or no symptoms. Maybe even YOU!!
The tone of the article implies that the spread in ‘red’ states is due to Republican governors treating their citizens like free adults instead of like subjects. If only Burgum would force nursing homes to accept Wuhan patients like NY’s Cuomo, why things would be under control.
I live in a semi rural county in Southeast MO with a population 1/10th of Staten Island. I do know people here who have gotten Wuhan. An elderly couple were facing medical problems. Their family came from Hawaii and Colorado to help out. Within 3 weeks all but two out a dozen have contracted the disease. It obviously spreads like wildfire if you are in close contact with anyone who has it.
No one in the family has died from it. Two, the elderly couple, were hospitalized and are now in a nursing home. The rest ages 50 to 2 apparently have recovered.
My uncle died last week in CT. He was nearly 101. I wonder if his death will be chalked up to Wuhan.
I know 19 people who have tested positive. They range from not knowing they had it, to having very minor and short term symptoms, to having flu for a couple of days, to one heavier 57 year old diabetic being hospitalized for a couple of days and receiving supplemental oxygen (not intubation). We live in SD, go to work everyday, our kids are in school, we have sports, dine in restaurants, and go to church. Probably 200 at the service I attended this morning. It is real. It affects people differently. Im not in a big risk group, not overly concerned about it and live my life.
