President Donald Trump slammed Sen. Ben Sasse as being one of the 'least effective' Republican Senators after the Nebraska politician asserted that the president 'kisses dictators' butts' in a recently released audio recording.
In scathing tweets posted on Saturday morning, Trump claimed that the Nebraska senator had gone back to his 'stupid and obnoxious ways,' even after he had done so much to help the state.
'The least effective of our 53 Republican Senators, and a person who truly doesn’t have what it takes to be great, is Little Ben Sasse of Nebraska, a State which I have gladly done so much to help,' he said in the tweet thread.

Something Sasse and other GOP weenies need to be aware of - when Trump goes, a lot of his voters are going to need much better reasons than people like Ben Sasse to stay and keep voting Republican.

...Nomination to run for a second term. Then he went back to his rather stupid and obnoxious ways. Must feel he can’t lose to a Dem. Little Ben is a liability to the Republican Party, and an embarrassment to the Great State of Nebraska. Other than that, he’s just a wonderful guy!

Senator Little Ben Sasse of the Great State of Nebraska seems to be heading down the same inglorious path as former Senators Liddle’ Bob Corker, whose approval rating in Tennessee went from 55% to 4%, & Jeff “the Flake” Flake, whose approval rating in Arizona went from 56% to....
..practically nothing. Both Senators became totally unelectable, couldn’t come even close to winning their primaries, and decided to drop out of politics and gracefully “RETIRE”. @SenSasse could be next, or perhaps the Republicans should find a new and more viable candidate?

Ben Sasse is nothing more than a traitor. At a time when we need to stick together to hold the Senate for the GOP, this b@stard decides to attack our President. Evidently he’s auditioning to be relevant to the left.
Too bad Nebraskans didn’t vote for his competitor, Republican Matt Innis, a Marine Corps veteran and business owner in the primary who complained that he was too critical of the President. They really screwed up....
I am a registered independent, the last two elections, and this one, I am voting straight party Republican solely due to Trump (and Pence) being at the top of the ticket.
Trump won’t be there again, and the corrupt swamp Republicans that want to mimic the Biden family enterprise aren’t going to get my votes once Trump is off the ticket.

Exactly. In reality it was GOP of Sasse that “kisses the ass of dictators” In particular the GOP engineered Corker-Obama Iran deal. China Mitch and his merry band of China loving beltway sewer rats own it all.
At this time and point POTUS has ever justification for pushing the GOP destruction button on his phone. There can be no dispute now the the Party of Lincoln is a malignant force in American politics
Sasse votes with Trump 80%+ of the time. We need the seat so POTUS is handling it right. trump doesn’t need the seat as much as we do.
Sissy needs to know that the Democrats aren’t going to care unless you voted yes to remove Trump from office in February. They aren’t going to buy it.
I am keeping my powder dry until he votes to confirm ACB. Alienating him at this point is very counterproductive. He can be dealt with after the election.
Sasse represents the people of Nebraska who elected him to support the GOP platform. Not the other way around. We don’t owe him anything. It’s his job to confirm ACB.
I hope that Trump doesn’t publicly attack Sasse so much that Sasse decides to vote against the confirmation of ACB.
