A Black woman who repeatedly nodded in agreement with President Trump during his NBC town hall meeting in Miami Thursday evening enraged the left on social media Thursday night.
The woman, revealed to be immigration attorney and pro-Trump activist Mayra Joli, captured America’s attention after she was seen enthusiastically agreeing with the president while seated behind him during the town hall with moderator Savannah Guthrie, sparking the viral hashtag #NoddingWoman. Critics demanded to know Ms. Joli’s identity and accused her of being paid by the Trump campaign.
“Journalists, if you don’t find out who that woman is nodding behind Trump at an ‘undecided’ voter town hall, then I don’t know what you’re getting paid for,” the Lincoln Project’s Tom Nichols tweeted.
“A parody of Taken about a black woman who follows Trump around nodding at everything he says. It’s called… Token,” tweeted author and comedian Sarah Cooper.

A very large swath of the black population are good, church-going folks who have middle class type moral values and religious beliefs. Many are realizing that the Rat party does not respect their beliefs and are really working against them. In other words, the party they have been supporting for many years has abandoned them. I welcome them as new Trump voters. Maybe they can help us transform the GOP into a mainstream America party. It is clear the elites in BOTH parties are hostile to us regular folk, whether white, black, Latino or other race and ethnicity.

The woman is from the Dominican Republic, thus the shaming argument won’t work on her as it does on American blacks.
