First, you state the obvious...that is that the tech guy had the computer. It is also likely that Hunter Biden is so lacking in computer smarts that he had weak passwords, if any.
He must be really computer dumb or he would know that all info should be backed up to a free standing drive and the computer hard drive wiped before giving it to a repair shop.
If for some reason the computer will not run, remove the hard drive. Any capable repair shop will have a hard drive of their own to insert for testing and repair services.
And last, but deserving of first place, it is well known that the FBI has paid Best Buy geek squad techs for reporting suspected criminal activities found on computers sent to them for repair. I believe it began originally as an aid to finding and prosecuting pedophiles, a good idea but as history teaches us, good ideas often mutate into something not intended.
Who is foolish enough to believe that only Geek Squad techs are reading your personal information when you leave your computer in their shop?
... and the passwords. When you drop off a computer to be repaired, you have to give them the administrator passwords.
