My basis for this is my Kalifornian sister that claims to be a Republican, but every thing coming out of her mouth is a democrat talking point.
This is why conservative red states turn blue when RINO Kalifornians move in and out vote the locals.

I sometimes wonder if a lot of New Englanders are descended from the Royalists - the backstabbers that were never on board with the American Revolution in the first place.
Boston strikes me that way - they even sound and act a little too much like Brits.

I'm a lifelong resident of the Gay State (Massachusetts).Given that there are so many people of Irish blood here the "Saint Patrick's Day Breakfast" is an important event in the state's political calendar.Every politician with any power attends for a good laugh. During one such Breakfast Baker said "I must admit to you that I'm only 1% Irish and 1% Republican".
Real Republicans don't have a prayer in this state.IIRC Reagan was the last Republican to carry the state...the first time,not in '84.
