CNN anchor Don Lemon had some harsh words for NBC after the network announced its town hall with President Trump, which is airing opposite of ABC's town hall with Joe Biden on Thursday night.
Calling it the "story of the day," Lemon told his primetime colleague Chris Cuomo that people were "outraged" about the dueling town halls, especially since it was Trump who backed out of the now-canceled virtual debate.
"Why on earth would NBC agree to do that?" Lemon asked. "You can do equal time on a different night! You can do equal time at a different time! You don't have to do it at the same time and then divide the country further by having them choose!"

He knows that the Trump town hall will get all the attention and nobody will watch slow Joe.
A little revisionist history there. Trump never agreed to a virtual debate and insisted on following the agreed upon format. The 100% Biden supporting debate commission came up with the idiot virtual format, where Joe could read his answers from his basement teleprompter, answering questions from his anti-Trump friend and former aid who would have been the moderator.

All of these TV people quote the polls as if they’re set in stone and they didn’t learn a thing from 2016.
I used to watch a lot of election TV coverage, but now avoid it. It’s mostly all NEGATIVE, except maybe the Five and the nighttime shows.
