I originally had high hopes for Barr as AG, especially after the do-nothing Sessions fiasco. Now, Im beginning to realize how swampy he is.
When is Trump going to catch on to being President? He still acts like hes a complete novice in his office.
LOL
There aren’t many we can trust in DC (the Deep State Swamp); it’s a whole lot bigger and deeper than we have a clue about.
Barr is a Bushie at heart. He has expressed indignation at times but doesnt walk the walk. As Trump has said openly, republicans dont play the tough game. They mostly want to play the get-along game. When Barr was appointed I said he wouldnt rock the boat much. Sadly I was right.

Really? Do you even take a moment to read what you write before posting?

Not going to happen.
Trump has very few choices in the people he appoints. If they have the skills necessary they do not have the knowledge and vice versa. And learning that people who have reputations that are sterling for integrity are still Establishmentarians and when they are faced with the prospect of dismembering that Establishment they must go wobbly, as the Brits say.The Establishment co-opts the necessary talent right out of the universities. Trump has an extremely limited pool of talent who are both very talented and not part of the swamp. Giuliani was the obvious first choice but he refused to take it on.
I suppose he could not possibly get any non-corrupt people confirmed. I use the term “corrupt” to mean people who never try to punish those on the left, while generally only going after people on the right.
I am thinking most of your post makes you an idiot.
20 days, then you can vote for your guy, Biden.
Some of the pea-brains on FR simply amaze me.
I hope the president does NOT fire Barr. He is fighting against an entrenched and Democrapt Party loyal bureaucracy within the DOJ.
And the president needs to remember that the bureaucracy will not accept a tweet, such as the one directing the declassification and release without redaction, as an order. Having spent a number of years doing FOIA and declassification, he needs to put that tweet into writing as an Executive Order. That move will make any bureaucratic ‘wiggling’ around avoiding the tweet as direct disobedience of an E.O.
And I fully concur with the President’s ordering the complete declassification and release, without any redactions of the documents in question.
